Account Executive

Job Description

The Account Executive develops new prospects manages new sales opportunities through to closure to increase sales of BTM’s services. This position also develops relationships with existing partners to bring in new sales leads as well as work their own network to develop leads. Account Executives may partner with others from the sales team to close deals. Each Account Executive will involve practice delivery team members throughout the sales process to ensure proper service and knowledge is delivered to help close the sale and ensure the successful delivery. The Account Executive is responsible for updating and maintaining the BTM CRM system.

Essential Functions:
  • Develop leads and opportunities for BTM Global for new prospects
  • Send follow up emails and phone calls from advertising, campaigns, webinars
  • Coordinate and schedule reference calls for potential new clients
  • Coordinate webinars, email, and phone follow up on attendees
  • Research new potential clients and contacts
  • Manage and update CRM database - Keep CRM database up to date with contacts, opportunities, leads, critical updates and next steps for closure
  • Help create client specific sales presentations
  • Develop understanding of services offered by BTM
  • Participate in sales calls, onsite meetings, and final negotiations
  • Gain trust and enhance BTM relationship with partners
  • Attend Retail Industry Events
  • Attend sales training as necessary
  • Support Marketing
  • Put together close plan
  • Assist in RFP/Approval responses
  • Work with Practice Director, Vice President, CEO and Business Development Director
Education, Experience, and Other Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • 2-5+ years in a sales role, ideally B2B services
  • Experience in the retail industry a plus
  • Independent, resilient, driven, results focused
  • Excellent communication skills
  • You must have prior success generating and qualifying leads to “C-level, VP Level & Director Level” of large enterprise and Fortune companies
  • Highly self-motivated and tenacious individual, willing to spend most of your day seeking new opportunities and following-up with existing prospects.
  • Experience in software services or technology related industry strongly preferred
  • Experience in multi-state, global organization preferred
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency to support the operations side of the business
