Solution Architect, NetSuite Practice

The Solution Architect provides a unique combination of functional and technical product expertise and delivery implementation experience in retail systems to design and deliver software solutions to meet client needs. The Solution Architect will work closely with the client to understand business and system requirements and provide a critical link between the functional and technical delivery team to ensure a complete and cohesive solution.

The Solution Architect provides a unique combination of functional and technical product expertise and delivery implementation experience in retail systems to design and deliver software solutions to meet client needs. The Solution Architect will work closely with the client to understand business and system requirements and provide a critical link between the functional and technical delivery team to ensure a complete and cohesive solution.
Essential Functions:
- Facilitate validation of business processes and NetSuite solutions for our clients
- Document according to BTM and SuiteSuccess Methodology, in and out of scope requirements and be able to translate into NetSuite solutioning
- Demonstrate experience evaluating business and technology needs and translating that understanding into configuration of the software and technical specifications for custom development
- Demonstrated experience implementing NetSuite order-to-cash, purchase-to-pay, and account-to-report workstreams and associated modules
- Demonstrated experience with different types of testing required in a system implementation (unit, quality assurance, system integration, user acceptance)
- Demonstrated experience in financial and accounting concepts, such as function of a general ledger, month/year end close process, chart of account considerations, etc.
- Demonstrated experience with SuiteSuccess implementation methodology
- Assist with data migration
- Perform NetSuite Delivery from personalizations, configurations, and walk-throughs
- Ability to estimate own level of effort
- Assist with FRDs and solution architecture
Other Functions:
- Follow BTM methodologies and procedures
- Able to contribute to other work efforts on the project as needed
- May perform other job-related duties as assigned
Education, Experience, and Other Skills:
- 5-7 years NetSuite Experience with 8 -10 implementations
- 4-year degree preferred
- Must have NS Suite Foundation Certification plus 1 -2 more certifications
- Experience with NetSuite, Excel, MS Office, Bugzilla, Celigo, Boomi, rfSmart
- Assist with data migration
- Perform NetSuite Delivery from personalization, configurations and walk throughs
- Ability to estimate own level of effort
- Assist with FRD’s and solution architecture
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Experience with Fixed Assets, Revenue Management, and/or Multi-Book Accounting.
- Ability to translate complex problems into viable solutions.
- Team-oriented, yet able to work independently.
- Great interpersonal skills and comfortable communicating with individuals and teams at all levels through the C-suite and end-users.
- High-energy, self-motivated, strong desire to learn, can-do attitude, high attention to detail, and problem-solver.
- Some level of experience working at a client’s facility whilst conducting work sessions and/or trainings.
